Summer is 'a Comin'

Like many of you I'm beginning to feel neck deep in all the end of year activities. We have last day of school parties and dance recitals on the calendar for May but before all that can happen, I'm leaving town for a week. I'm wondering if the timing could have been better, but I'm so ready for this. May 3-8th I'll be in Arlington at Texas School for Professional Photographers. I'm so excited I can hardly wait. I'll be spending the whole week under the instruction of one of the best photographers in Texas. I'm trying now to remember the last time I was away from my husband and children for so long, and I think it's never. Ah!

However, I also wanted to pop in here and let you know that though I haven't posted a weekly session, there is one coming next week as well as May's newsletter. Keep an eye out for those and know that things are hoppin' round here. :)

Now I have a question for all you out in blog world. I have been rolling around the idea of offering photo jewelry to my clients. As a mother, I would LOVE to have some of these pieces but want to find out from you if it's something you're interested in as well. I hesitated to do this in the past because I felt none of the vendors I came across were reputable or had the customer service I expect and that my clients expect from me. However, that is no more. Feel free to visit http://www.peronadesigns.com/ to see some of the jewelry I could offer and know that the beautiful portraits you adore of your children and families could become fabulous accessories like these.
After taking a look, please post a comment and let me know what you think. Be honest, if you love it or think you'd rather invest in wall art instead. You're not going to hurt my feelings. I want to know what you want. Have you seen something else you liked? Let me know, I'm all ears.

Honestly for me it would come down to price. More than likely I would just buy pictures but every once in awhile (like several years apart) it would be neat to have a charm that I could put on a braclet or key ring. They had some cute stuff but based on other pricing I have seen around, I think they would probably be more expensive than I would want to them to be. ~Jenifer B
